Question Anyone ever seen one of these?

Hey all, what do you think?

I just dug this box out of upstairs storage at the dealership. Brand new, never installed, and with instructions and mounting screws/snaps.

It's a rear hatch tonneau cover, and I don't know what to do with it. If anyone has pics of this in a car, please post them here, as I would mount it if it's cool, or might just sell it if it fits/looks like ***.

The instructions aren't real intuitive, I would have to have someone install it for me. It's designed for a '79, but should mount in any 1st gen...

Next pic...

It's got a couple of pockets in it that face the front of the car when mounted that would be handy, and I think it attaches to the hatch so that it moves up when the hatch is opened?

Back side...

The shipping date on the box by UPS is 11/1/78. That's why I'm sure it's for a '79. Again, if anyone has pics of one of these installed, please post them!

Is that what that thing is? I have one but no idea how to mount it! I'm thinking it looks ugly too... but I guess I'd like to know how to use it as well. Mine is currently sitting in the garage.

How much would you think about selling it for? Out of curiosity, I probably wouldn't actually be in the market, so-to-speak.

Not sure, I usually let eBay solve that question for me

I'm still trying to decide if I like it or not.

I had one similar to that, but mine looked like it was pieced together from random parts rather than a coherent kit. Yours looks much nicer.
