gsl-se rear end noise

So guys, I just got done switching over to a gsl-se rear end. I cleaned it up, and installed new bearings, oil seals, and the pinion oil seal and nut. The problem is, I went to drive it around, and it's incredibly noisy. Straight, around turns, fast, slow, there's a constant grinding sort of noise. Anyone have an idea what the problem may be from this discription? I know it's not much. THanks!

when you removed the pinion nut you changed the pre-load on the ring and pinion gears. your rear end is not set-up properly anymore as their contact pattern is either too deep into the ring gear, or not enough. The FSM shows the proper way to set it up.

Are you using gear oil with a Limited Slip Additive? If not try changing the fluid to one with the LSD additive.

yep the pinion and ring are not properly meshing causing the noise.

alright, I've barely driven it like this, I'm talking less than a mile. Do you guys think I've damaged anything? The hayne's manual said just to torque the nut to 94 ft/lbs, but I guess that didnt quite work. Am I going to need a new pinion nut and seal, or should I be able to salvage them?
