GSL-SE rear brake caliper bracket mounting bolt size?
I bought a GSL-SE rear axle and brake setup, but the place that sold it to me removed the calipers from the hubs for shipping. As a result, the 4 caliper bracket mounting bolts and lock washers are missing. I figured this would be an easy thing to order through Mazda or the auto parts store, but it's proving to be problematic.
The parts manual PDF doesn't show those particular bolts. They show a bolt that looks like a slider bolt going into what looks like the caliper bracket from the front. This doesn't appear to be the correct bolt, but the Mazda parts desk ordered that part number anyway, stating that the images aren't always accurate.
In the meantime, I decided to have a go at getting a bolt from Fastenal, but nothing they had would fit my remanufactured calipers. I'm thinking these should be an M10 1.25 pitch, but it binds as I try to screw it in. I'm not sure, but it's possible that the caliper paint/coating may be on the threads, causing the binding.
I'm just hoping there's someone out there that can either tell me the exact specs (length, diameter, thread pitch) of these bolts, or perhaps tell me where I can get the OEM bolts from (or at least the correct part numbers).

I just happened to have a GSLSE rear end and calipers sitting on the floor of my garage.
It's defiantly M10 1.25 pitch. Almost 27mm long. 14mm head.
You might want to run a tap through the get out any crud or nastiness in the threads.
Cheapest place to get these bolts would be at a salvage, like the pick-it-yourself kind.

Rotary-MG,
THANK YOU for the quick response. I thought it MUST be an M10 1.25 pitch bolt. I'll chase out the threads and go pick up a set of 27mm long bolts from the hardware store tomorrow. This really makes my day. I don't know what Mazda ordered, but I seriously doubt that these bolts are going to arrive in a week. I'd try to get these at my local Pick-n-Pull, but GSL-SEs are about as rare as hens' teeth around here.
