Exclamation GSL-SE question

So i was outside playing around with my new SE and I noticed on the passengers side next to the intake there was a wire harness unplugged so I plugged it back in and when I went to rev the car up it would rev erradically and sputter a bunch and my exhaust would rattle like mad near the cat so I unplugged it and it was fine. what the hell is that harness? If it helps my car is bone stock nothing has been touched on it, it looks and drives the exact same way it did when it came off the lot in '84 thats why I was like WTF why it that unplugged?

Need a better description of the wires, plug and what you plugged it into. In my sig line is a link to the FSMs, in there you will find the wiring diagrams.

Are you refering to the TPS? If so, there is an adjustment proceedure in the FSM.
