there are a ton of things that can lead to a no start situation. Give us a little more information. Does it crank over well, fuel to the chamber, good spark, etc.

I belive the mixture screw is only for setting idle fuel mixture. so that should'nt cause a no start situation.

Well, the problem is I have checked compression, spark, fuel pump. All OK. But the car will not start. If I put some starting fluid in the intake, it'll fire-up for a second and then die. Before all this happened, I had a short that kept blowing the engine fuse. I found it to be the one connecting the air supply valve for the a/c. I now believe I have an electrical problem which is either preventing the injectors from opening or I am not getting enough air. Last night, after trying to start it, I removed the plugs and saw some fuel but not a whole lot. Infact, the trailing plugs had only splatters of fuel. When I propped the afm door the injectors sprayed the fuel, so I know they work. What's left?
Bad AFM or CPU????
I am open to any further suggestions.
