GSL-SE intake box lid

Maybe it's a common issue but I haven't found a solution. The metal snap clips on my intake airbox lid won't lock when snapped into place so the lid is never fully closed. Does anyone have a solution for this?

I am closing them properly they just unlock themselves when I let go.

Mine do the same. They used to do it only when the filter was not sitting properly. Now I think they've stretched and some of them are just popping back up. I'll bend mine a little tonight and let you know how it works.

I tried several times to bend/adjust the clamps on mine with very little success. I finally used some black gorilla tape to seal up the box - seems to work well and is unobtrusive.

No update. I haven't messed with it yet. On my list for tonight! I'll report back with what I find after "adjusting" a couple of the clamps that are not working properly.
