RE-EGI intake manifold-help

I just came across a manifold which says RE-EGI on the top, and has no emissions stuff on it, three throttle butterflies. What is this?

The box that says RE EGI is the dynamic chamber / intake. It's from either a 84 or 85 GSL-SE 13b 1st gen rx7 EFI system.
