GSL-SE, How can I disable the fuel pump?
I want to run fuel injector flush through the injectors, this type replaces the fuel so the engine runs on it while it's cleaning. The car idles on a can of it for about 20 minutes. The thing is I need to disable the fuel pump so I can plumb into the fuel rail. Where the heck is the relay? I've used search at least 6 times, everthing is 12A specific, t's right under the dash, to the right of the column. But where is it on the 13B? I've unplugged every relay under the hood and the dam thing keeps running.
I looked under the carpet for the access panel to the pump but didn't see anything obvious. Is it in the spare tire well or what?
Thanks,
Vernon

I think you might be able to just pull the blue plug off the trailing coil. I believe that disables the fuel pump, and this is done to relieve flooding conditions. Not positive though. Good luck.

unplug it...take outt ur drivers side storage bin...look for a set of wires with a little connector thing (sone side has blue wire and black wire...other side has both black wires) the wires go down through the floor (should be in the upper left hand corner of the storage bin (looking to the back of the car)

You can also remove the 'Injection' fusible link found at the driver's side strut tower. This will turn off fuel injection so that you can run the fuel through.
On second thought, you're still going to need to have the injectors 'firing', so maybe you should just disable the pump as others describe above. The Fuel Pump fuse in the fusepanel should accomplish this. HTH,

The fuel pump relay on the -SE is under the false floor pan in the passenger side foot well, next to the computer. It is located to the bottom left of the computer. Although it will probably be easier to just unplug the pump at the conecter in the storage bin, as mentioned above.

Mark is right! period. lol calm down Mark we believe you. The other ways just killed the injection also. I didn't dig out the relay though it's nice to know where it is.
I did a double can injector flush (double douche) on the car this evening and dropped the tank to check the strainer (was good). You could tell the engine was likeing the treatment. I didn't have time to test drive it but I did a few WOT free revs and the engine spun stronger from idle up to 7000 without delay, sputter, or shake for the first time ever, usually you could tell the problem just flooring it in nuetral. The engine idle is smooth as glass and stronger. It will hold the A/C and lights without dipping too low in RPM now. My A/C activated idle air valve is broke. It had better work I'm out of things to fix. lol

IN ORDER TO DISABLE THE FUEL PUMP YOU EITHER NEED TO DISABLE THE AIR FLOW METER CONNECTION OR REMOVE THE STORAGE COMPARTMENT INSERT BEHIND THE DRIVER SIDE SEAT AND UNPLUG THE FUEL PUMP CONNECTION FROM THE HARNESS THAT COMES THRU THE FLOORBOARD. IN REFERENCE TO CLEANING THE INJECTORS, THEY REALLY DO NOT HAVE PROBLEMS. A GOOD SYNTHETIC CLEANER, LIKE SLICK 50 OR ANOTHER CLEANER MADE BY BG PRODUCTS WHICH IS AN
EXCELLENT PRODUCT IS ALL THAT IS NEEDED. IN EXTREME CASES YOU CAN REMOVE THE INJECTORS AND TAKE THEM INTO A PLACE THAT TESTS THEN AND CLEANS
AND CHECKS FOR FLOW IS POSSIBLE. ANY MORE ? FEEL
