Gsl-se going carb, rats nest removal advice?
ok, ive got the tutorial, but what do i do if i have a 13B? Its all for a 12A. I'm going carb, so obviously the EFI doesnt need to work. Advise? help? what can i remove? when i revove the airpump, do i need a second belt?

I would say that with the carb, all of it can come out. Just plug the vacuum lines as necessary.
FWIW, 23racer runs his with one belt, though I am not thrilled with the wrap angle. I would suggest moving the alternator to the AC location (if possible) this way the belt will wrap further around the waterpump. I'll have a look at mine tonight and see what's up.

I ahve run single belts for years, with no overheating issues. I even run a single on my 13bt swapped fb, and at over a 100 mph going over mountain passes in 90 degreee weather, still no cooling issues.
