gsl-se fuel problem
What would make the car idle and run, but not run on high RPM's?! For example... I can drive at 3,000 RPM's, and as soon as I get any higher, it boggs down until I let off the gas pedal and then lightly reapply gas. New fuel filter, but it was installed backwards. Do i need to change out the filter, or could it be something else?

Alright this may sound fucked but I had the same sort of problem! It wouldn't rev past 3-4grand. and had no power, atleast not enought to even peel out.
Here's what I did, you see those emission harness clips on the drivers side of the re-egi manifold. There should be two, one green and the other orange. Now unplug one of them while engine running. then pull on the throttle cable and see if the problem has gone away, if not try the other one and plug the first one back in. Then if still nothing unplug both.
You engine should idle smoothly when you remove one of the clips. then you know that was the right one to unplug.
Unfortunately I don't know how to fix it, what I did was bypass that emissions trigger by putting a jumper in the clip from one wire to the other and taped it up. My car has run perfect since!

Mine had the same problem. There is a screen in the fuel pump that sometimes clogs up. clean it. There's another one in the gas tank but that's a big pain to get to.
