You do not have a "EGR" valve. If you are referring to the ACV which is located on the side of the intake manifold then you block it off. If you are buying a new RB header then it will come with the block off plate and instructions. Make sure you use a good gasket with the plate or it will leak and causing running issues.

There is nothing at the end of the catalytic converters.
This link will show you a picture of the ACV which is on the side of the intake manifold (intake portion that bolts to the engine.

Perhaps you are referring to the long metal tube that goes from the "Rear" of the intake manifold to the catalytic converter?

It supplies air from the Air pump to the catalytic converter for emission purposes. On the Se it also serves as the back pressure tube to activate the 5th 6th port actuators on the intake manifold that are for med to upper Rpm. For more reading about 5th 6th port actuators you can download a copy of your year FSM from the link in my signature or search with the terms, 5th 6th , actuator, or something of that nature.
