GSL-SE E-fan with S4

I have my S4 N/A engine in and looking all nice a pretty, but the only thing keeping me getting it back together is work and the fiero fan I previously acquired is to thick to fit between the waterpump and radiator. Is there any cheap-quick to find fans that fit good on the -SE rad? I've been looking at the ones in summit but if I break down and get one of them, I'll have to post-pone my debut on the road even longer. Thanks, let me know,
Jamy

PS I dont have the stock fan shroud anymore.

I'm using a Fiero fan in my SE... managed to make it fit. It is snug and is better suited for 12A cars. The motor does occassionally rub against the water pump pulley bolts but I don't care

Is there any body else that could help? As RacerX7fb said, the fiero fan is best for the 12a rad.

I heard that an e-fan from a 91-96 Ford Escort fits a FB or SA pretty well. It's shrouded, 16"+, has three speeds and moves a lot of air. You should be able to find one at your local junkyard for $25-60.

I vouch for that fan as well. Its the same Dimensions as an SE Rad. Its also offset fan so it wont interfere with the pullies.

If you still have the A/C & P/S pulley, there isnt sufficient space to use a FIERO nor the TAURUS fan. Im in the process of transferring the motor out of my boy's blue FB to a cleaner FB but I cant use the FIERO as it has a good A/C. So I will going on a junkyard tour one of these days. According to a good source, a DODGE CARAVAN fan worked fine in his former FB. However, I have no proof of it. Well, since local junkyards have 15 days warranty on returns, I will be trying it out. Let ya know in the next 2 weeks.

Well here are some updates:

Threw out the fiero fan Idea, instead getting a universal 16'' fan, because fiero fan is only 14''.
I dont run ac or ps and emmission free also.
The gsl-se rad dimensions are 22''wide by 17'' tall. That is the fin area.
I decided if I have any fitting problems, I'll do the best I can to trim the rad ducts to get a little room.
