Question gsl rpm issue

i attempted to clean up the oil pressure sender and replace it (didnt know 12A and 13B had different senders, duh..) i popped it back in and now the rpm needle is whacked out running about 1000 to 1400 where before it was 750 right where it should be, still learning about them 12A's, any suggestions?

12A and 13B oil senders are the same part #. Even the 2nd gens. Sounds like you disturbed the wiring somewhere, put one of the cables going to the carb in a bind or caused a vacuum leak.
