GSL Rear-end swap: Brake line tubing question...
I was wrenching on my GSL rear-end swap, yesterday; trying to prepare for the new braided stainless steel lines swap. I was hoping that the steel tubing would be usable; however, it has rust on the inside. Also, the 10mm and 17mm tube-to-flex connectors are so tightly fused by corrosion and rust that they are rounding off. Obviously, the tubing and fittings can't be salvaged and I'll need to replace with new steel brake tubing and flange fitting connectors.
Has anyone here fabricated their own tubing, doing the bending and flanging? Mazdatrix doesn't have the tubing available for purchase; although, I assume my local Mazda dealer would possibly be able to get them for a small fortune. I'd appreciate some advice and tips.
I've been prepping for this swap for too long, already. This is my latest swap-out roadblock.

If you just need to get the rubber line off the hard one, you could take a pair of vice grips ona clap the hell out of it to remove it. That is what I had to do to do my swap.

Its not that hard, as long as you have qualtiy tools. If you have a shitty bender and flaring kit, you will just screw up the lines and **** yourself off. Get craftsman, or better yet something off a truck, if you have access to one. (matco, MAC, snap-on) And just take your time with it. And as far as the tubing asnd nuts go, your local parts store should have everything you need.
