Okay, so I am brand new on here, and don't know much about the 1st gens, let alone any rx's. I am an ae86 owner who may be getting 2 1st gens for my rolla, I was wondering if these things came with a factory LSD? I read somewhere that they did, but I wasn't too sure on the source. So if anyone could tell me that would be sweet, and also give me some advice, or specs on the car as well that would really help

 

GSLs have LSD as well as 4-wheel disk brakes.

late 83, 84 and 85 also have bigger axles and bearings, GSL models all have electric windows and sunroof. Leather was an option. If it has rear drums it is not a GSL and doesn't have an LSD. Motor and trans is the same as all other 12a 1st gens.

 

I know for sure that one is an 85 GSL, but not se. It is all power, and cloth seats.... The other one is ? model, but an 83.... But the 83 DOES have leather seats, so does that make it a GSL as well? Thanks! And I'm not quite sure if I'm ready to give up an AE for 2 first gens

 

Leather was an option on the GS as well, rear brakes are the most obvious give away
