Thumbs up Great Exhaust!

I know you're thinking, here we go again with what muffler should I use?

Or how can I make my stock Rx7 sound like that FD on the video?

Nope!

This is a testament post.

I just upgraded to the full racingbeat roadrace (or called the streetport) exhaust on my supercharged streetported 13b.

It is very tame at cruise and gets louder the harder you push it, and at open throttle it is fu$%ing amazing.

Previously I have had the full single racingbeat exhaust, it was a little raspy to say the least, then when I supercharged it I went to a 2 1/2 single straight through exhaust to a magnaflow in search of that deep tone, this was painfully loud no matter how you drove it.

Then I added an aftermarket presilencer to quieten it down.

Then I add "another" presilencer to make it nice.

Last year I tried an aero muffler (like a magnaflow) with downward tips along with my 2 presilencers.

Gotta say, nothing compares to the roadrace exhaust. Just when it used to feel like power was falling off before it keeps pulling now.

Combine this with my installation of a set of 4.88 gears it rips just fine now.

I like the RB RR setup as well and I have a stockport 12a. Previously I had the RE single pipe setup and it sounded good but was more restrictive.

Ok, now let the flame fest begin

Nice choice on the exhaust. However, you seem to have forgotten the sound clips.

If you want flames, tune it richer. The excess unburnt fuel will light off in the exhaust.

This is the flaming I was referring too

Not actual flames out the exhaust

Ok, its not the absolute best exhaust system and it has some compromises but its
great for a bolt on and for anyone that doesn't want to fab their own.

I will confirm that the RB stock port system is quiet. Too quiet for my tastes. It does sound very nice inside the car, deep and throaty. But the first time I let a buddy race my car at an autocross, and I heard it from the exterior, I was shocked. Sounded tinny, raspy, and very quiet.

I hung my head in shame, thinking of all the times I got off the gas real quick when I saw a cop, thinking my exhaust was so bad *** it was going to get me pulled over. lmao.
