got the wheels on the wide-body..

let me know what you think..

I ended up going with 15*8 with a 4" back space in the front and a 15*10 with a 4.5" backspace in the rear.

225/50R-15's all around... was the plan until we broke 2 beads trying to mount them.. so prolly going to a 245

Comments are welcome.

Nice car.
I have never seen that exhaust before. Why is it covered up like that? Where can I get the sides and front?

I think it looks great, and you can help me if possible regarding the AF forums.

I noticed you posting some when people were asking about FB body on there. I posted some Skeletor pics, some retard started trolling, so I reported him, and he was banned. Minutes later some idiot was convinced the troll and myself were the same person, and reported that, and I was booted and banned.

Can you see what you can do to get a message to the mods to reinstate my account.

I am ThePartsYouneed on AF.

Thanks.

search the forum for "diamond wheels" I'm pretty sure this was a topic not long ago and someone posted a link. It's diamondracincg or something like that.......

Lookin good waapst! I'm a big fan of white myself. Make sure you paint the trim around the headlights black again though. I would paint the mouldings & window trim black too, but that's me.

get wider tires!!!

what is the point of a 10in wide rim and a widebody, if you only have 225s on it.

I have 15x7s and a stock body and I run 225s on the back.

go as wide as you can, it will look sick.

I would love to see what a 275 would look like on a FB. Probably would look really good, but almost pointless. I don't know. Its really just for the looks at that point.

i am now going to a 245 in the rear.. I want the rear tire to stretch out a bit at the side-wall. if i go too wide at the back w/o doing this stretching it will cause the car to push real bad..

It is easier to adjust the amount of over-steer by stretching the side-walls.

hey roto-tiller, what kind of tires do you have that are 265/50R-15???

IF i went to a 265/50R it would increase the side-wall.. and the car is low enough as it is..

For example.. my fronts 225/50R-15 has an outside diameter of 23.9"

a 265/50R-15 would have an out-side diameter of 25.5..
so it would be atleast another 3/4" closer to my rear fenders..

comparing the the circumferences is another story..

225/50R-15 = 75.046"
265/50R-15 = 80.070"
so every revolution I would be gaining 5-inches more..

Good for top end.. bad for acceleration...

a 265/35 or 265/40R would kick *** though

The more rings- the less back pressure & louder it gets. Have dual ST on my 240Z.

damn dude, whoring up the posts eh

Mariah sells wheels for their kits.. but they want too much for them for what they are.. for what they charge I could have almost had a set of custom Rays made to match my other RX's...

i got my wheels from Diamond and reccomend them to all of you.. My wheels were ordered on tuesday, shipped on friday, and arrived on monday ( I ordered them un-finished as i plan to polish them and paint the centers white to match the car..)

I got 15x8 4" backspace Avengers for the front
and 15x10 4.5" backspace Avengers for the rear..

http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/RoadRaceSeries.htm

I paid $410.72 shipped for all 4.

BTW, I have a near-new set of 15*7 Kosei K1's in silver for sale.. if any people with stock body cars want a set of killer wheels.
