Hey Guys,
Dan "The Man" Atkins heard I was planning an engine build and hooked me up with this B-E-A-utiful eccentric shaft. I won't say how much it cost, but let's say it was practically a steal for something in this kind of condition.
Props to Dan, thanks so much! The lighting in my basement isn't all that good, especially at night, so these pics will have to do. Seriously though the shaft is in awesome shape.

Thanks for the compliments
Dan must have spent some time polishing my shaft to get it looking like that
The engine isn't going to be done for the next year. The *real* thing I have to do is get the paint and body work done, so I'm saving up aiming for that next November. Any spare cash I have I use to accumulate parts for the engine build.
I'm accumulating parts now, then I have to send the Irons for resurfacing and re-nitriding, the housings for JHB coating (still debating), send all of that off for porting, get the rotors clearanced, the rotating assembly balanced, get the housings powdercoated, then get it assembled!
The collecting parts is going to take the most time because I'm going *****-to-the-wall and building one from *scratch*. I'm leaving my engine in my car and building the other engine one part at a time.
It should be awesome once paint and engine are both done. That will only leave the brakes, tranny and rear end that haven't been touched on the car

What's the most you can get out of a carbed street ported 12a without having turbo, super, or NOS? We're going to find out!
The old addage says "Performance, Reliability, Cost : Choose any two"
I chose the first two, to hell with the cost
