Goopy Semi P-Port manifold

I was on FB and this came up in my feed. They modded the stock manifold for a p-port set up. I'd never run a port that big but I figured someone here might be interested. I checked their FB page but I didn't find a price

waste of time IMHO, no disrespect. think about it, if a modded nikki cant supply a 13-B bridge (not a track car so no rules), it wont be big enough for a semi p-port. I said not track bridge so venturies and such arent regulated.

Yeah, I don't really see much point with the stock manifold and a Nikki. An RB Holley manifold with a big 4-barrel on top, sure.

Maybe if the Nikki fed the four ports and a Weber IDA fed the peripheral ports.

Nah, that's also no good... the Nikki is too small even for a stock port 12A with a stock exhaust.

A stock Nikki is to small for anything however if you know what your doing a well modified Nikki will flow enough for a decent bridged 12a or possibly more

Goopy has used Sterlings on bridged 13B's for drag racing a pickup. I first heard about them through Sterlings old forum. It's probably an experiment and you'd have to see the results before saying it won't work.

No one is saying it won't work. Of course it would work. It would just be better to use a bigger carb and a better flowing manifold. Even a 465 CFM modified Nikki is nowhere near enough for a semi-PP if power is what you're after, and the manifold is a bottleneck as well.

True. You could remove the center divider to effectively double the CFM of the carb. Each rotor will be fed by all four barrels vs just 2 at a time.
