good wideband for 12a turbo?

well I got some extra cheese for a wideband and was wondering what wideband would be the best for a 12a turbo project?

what is the optimal ratio for a rotary turbo?

I will probably just plumb it into the turbo housing. or would it be better to have it in front of the turbo on the manifold(my own custom manifold)?

I am gonna send out my carb to robert to boost prep this week.

thanks for any info.

How about this one? It seems a better price then the dedicated innovate one, and it shows actual afr..
Has anyone used this aem wideband before?

Yo, I would go w/ the PLX Devices M-300, theres is awesome, me and FBII use them. I would recommend puttin the bung about a foot down in the DP, not in the manifold! The exhaust gasses i'm pretty sure would burn up the sensor being that close. As far as the optimal air/ fuel ratio, everyone will tell you differently, under boost I would like to have mine in the 11's.

+1 for the plx wideband. the M-300 is an awesome bang for the buck.

DO NOT PUT THE WIDEBAND IN THE MANIFOLD..... rock it out in the downpipe.

FYI if you put that thing anywhere near the manifold, or turbo its gonna go out of calibration real quick. do a quick search, most members are getting good results welding the bung at the midpipe/cat junction or right in that area.

i think that all depends on the sensor.. i have the bosche and it's only about 6" away from the turbo on my dp. never had an issue. one guy here has replaced his AEM wideband sensor 4 times now and it's probably 2 feet away from the turbo... i think around the midpipe area.

crazy eh?

yes, getting that wideband was the best thing i ever did. it not only showed me what's really wrong with my car when, before, i could only speculate and bug mexico... but it also helped with understand what effects fuel in different ways on the carbs i've used. GOTTA HAVE ONE!

CHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE EE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no, a wideband is good on anything that you want to accurately TUNE. n/a, boost, nitrous.... doesn't matter. even tuning for economy.

but don't forget... for complete tuning an EGT is a must. BUT, if you can only get one, then go for the wideband.

But the M-300 is wideband only. Do you also have an EGT? The R-500 does both, but it's $$$$$$$$$$

PS: Thanks for the Link Ryan

whats EGT? also i have my SDJ header that i told him to add an O2 sensor spot on there would that be a good place to put it? Secondly is there anything else that i need to add to make it work? Or is it just the sensor (well thats besides hooking it up to the battery)?
