zbo456, save some more $ and buy a Racing Beat muffler, its sounds very nice and it'll last you a long time.

a good sized stainless or mild steel magnaflow can be picked up for 50-70 dollars. Sounds deep and nice and provides good performance from its straight through design. Probably not as quiet as the RB muffler though.

Well do you want a good sound or a rice sound? Because rice mufflers go on ebay for dirt cheap. I got one for $30 and I love it. Its 8 inch diameter so its a real low tone.

i would say go with the racing beat muffler because even though u can get a crappy n1 style on ebay it would be tilited down slightly and not have a real rice look.....plus u will need to go to a shop and have it welded on and would end up sosting i would say $130 after shipping on the muffler too.....so save up and get the racing beat thats what im doin now and im getin the cat pipe too....

the n1 sytle will burn up really quick and wont last long either so u will need to replace it also and end up costing more in the long run

well the thing is i dont plan on keeping this car for a long time so, i dont want to install a racing beat because i dont want to put the money into it. but i need to get a diffrent muffler because the one i got is really high pitched and sounds like a go-kart on the road.

I have a Magnaflow s/s with the dual outlets with a midrange s/s resinator and it sounds good. It might be a little loader than a RB, but looks nice and sounds great. Performance Peddlers on eBay carries them,

Your best bet is a nice Magnaflow muffler. There isn't much else that can get the same kinda tone as a Magnaflow. IMO, not even the RB muffler sounds as nice as a magnaflow. They are just REAL deep sounding, with a very smooth tone. I have an 18" long magnaflow with a turbo style muffler as a presilencer and 3" pipes in between. Large diameter pipes are known to sound very tinny on rotaries, but my car has less of a tinny sound than a car with an N1 style muffler and stock pipe diameter.

No they don't, I've been running an ebay n1 style for almost 2 years now, not burnt up. It never has quieted much(unless silencer is in, then it does a lot but kills power on a turbo motor) but it won't burn up.

I'm happy with my Magnaflow, but it is too loud for street use. OR it would be if I cared about such things.
