Is this a good RX-7?

Hi, im into rx-7s alot, ive had 4 1st gens and 1 2nd gen, i found an 85 GS rx-7 and i was wondering how good these are and if could beat an 87 rx-7 se in a race if they were both in similar shape....

Anyway they want 100 bucks for it, the body is in ok shape, the front fenders have little dents on the front corners, the coil is bad and the tranny slips, it also had an automatic tranny so it may be hard for me to find a junkyard tranny huh? anyway plz tell me all u guys can, thx!

for $100. Might as well. you could part it out if you cannot fix it and get your money.

Just my $.02

Ugh, you're gonna need to put in a manual
But... I think the 87 will probably be faster...

If you don't want it, let me know. Does the motor still run?
