I don't see mileage listed, also it says auction was Reno Tahoe 2013. So it's been a while?

Thumbs up

They can be found. I just picked up a mint 83 GS for cheap. Engine doesn't run, but that's because the rebuilt carburetor is sitting in the back! One owner, 105k miles, always garaged, never seen snow or salt, rarely seen rain. Zero rust on the undercarriage.

And most importantly of all, it does not have the pimp-red interior! W@@T!

I'm calling her "Misty".

Still has all the chrome on the fender emblems!

I'll sell mine for $5500 if you want it. 37,000 original miles. GS model. Brown. Its basically a time machine with no rust. If you're interested personal messege me. I just need 5500 to get out of the loan. I'm looking to get a new miata instead. Runs great. Turn key.

Nice 1984 GS with LSD in Richmond

This just popped-up on Craigslist. Nice 84 prepped for autocross in Richmond, VA. I don't know the seller or the car.

I've played the CL game for long enough to know that guy has a stack of receipts and is going to ask the tally of all of them combined.

Offer him less than 6k and he'll scoff at you.

That is NOT a deal. You want to find someone who is down on their luck. You know prey on the weak kinda dawinism

In East LA there is this SICK SA outside of a repair shop, I bargained with the guy and got it down to 6k flat. This thing has a vintage body kit, 3 piece bbs wheels, a turbo engine, the works. I go to sign the papers and the guy " forgot" to mention it was a salvage title. The guy all but told me to **** off and leave unless I coughed up 6k ( which i had in hand) Durrin negotiations he spent a good half hour showing me how much he spent in parts and how many cars he owns. To top it off the title also said it was a 82.. yet it has a SA 79- early 81 rear tail lights. Making me think MAYBE the car was wrecked and rebuilt chop shop style . Shame since it's probably the sexiest SA iv ever seen.

And since it's the Dad selling it, I bet he won't try to stab people in the eye like that.

Next time I go to work with my pops, I'l take a spy shot
It's brown, with wide custom front fenders, on some sick BBS lace gold rims, tinted black windows. Lowered too! Oddly it had no wing.

FYI its been sitting there for well over a year now, so I can't guarantee it's still there.

Yeah, I got that, but I don't like when someone (especially on CL) will buy an item and assume that adds to the value.

Congrats you spent $300 on a carb... that doesn't mean that your car is now valued $300 more.

That might just be a personal rant though.

Regardless damn I was close
