I have everything wired but I'm not using it now. It was leaning out too much with direct fire.

Some cheap fog lights that dont work....They will be coming off, just not high on the priority list Want to get the engine done first.

I figure I would need two good 8 hour days to finish her, turbo set up wise. Its nice when you already have a plan of attack before you start. My wife is getting mad at me for spending most of this weekend working on the car. thats why we are going out today.

Then on top of that Im working on the car in a residential area. usually 10 pm to 1am, cant use the power tools to make the piping at that time. That cutoff saw is a little noisy.

Should get to work on it a little tonight and Saturday.

Cool, looks like I'm not the only one that's gonna have the intercooler entirely above that cross bar thing for lack of a better term. I was wondering about the air flow to the intercooler (since it's kinda up high and hidden) but those slats for the grill angle up so it should get cool air rammed in there just fine right?

Cartech had the intercoolers up there. I'm sure there's enough airflow for whatever your needs.

Only place I know that you might be able to find this kit it is Yahoo auctions Japan. yahoo auctions link I have seen parts show up on ebay from time to time.

As for your carb question, try the search function there is alot of info on what people use and there reasons. My kit was made for the Weber IDA carb so it was an easy choice for me.

Thanks

I got some more done, Intercooler piping is finished till I get my HKS BOV and new coupler silicone hoses comes in the mail. I have decided to go to the oil pan with the oil return due to the fact that the turbo seems lower than most I have seen and the oil outlet is damn near too low to go into the front cover. BTW these are actual daytime pictures

This one is so you can see the angle I have to deal with on the oil return

That last pic, looks like the Idler arm is gonna hit the wastegate or the oil return line. Perhaps the C&P Rack and Pinion kit will clear it?

It looks like you can rotate the WG 90 degrees so the oulet faces down, if you are having clearance issues.

Thanks guys I noticed that when I installed the turbo the first time. I checked for clearance on the idler arm from left to right and there was no contact. the original dump pipe I made had clearance issues but that has since been adjusted. I made the dump pipe go straight back to the rear of the car parallel to the exhaust manifold. Then Im going to drop it down. All is good. Hopefully I will start it this weekend!! ZOOM ZOOM!!!
