good bit of confusion.

Hey all I'm having issues with my car yesterday after work took a spirited drive home. Noticed temp gauge was half way. Stoped noticed it was smoking real bad blue smoke. Went to a safer spot and it stoped smoking. Coolant temps went down. It seems like if I use my secondarys it gets hot and higher rpms it feels low on power and surges. I know I'm running rich. Any ideas guys?

Yeh air fuel mixture is wrong if your pumping more fuel in then you should the fire will run a lot hotter. When you run the rotors hotter in a 12a and when the APex seal springs get hot enough they can flatten and you will get a smoke from your car. Get that carb tuned. Mine also surges but only at full peddle on the floor.

You need to fix your cooling issue. You almost overheated it to the point of needing a rebuild
if your seeing oil burning that much. This is probably more than just tune the carb and it will
be fixed.

The oil does all the cooling on a rotary. If you have a FMOC and you're still running the stock
lines, they need to be changed. If its a beehive you need to make sure everything is working
in your cooling system.

The gauge should never be at 1/2 if its all working right.

Ill flush it some time today, verify coolant mix. Thermostat is about half a year old, I have a fc wp in it. Odd thing was it will be fine untill I run it hard, I understand it builds more heat when run hard. Ill pressure it and llook for leaks while I'm at it even though I never saw level go down.
