Yeah go for it, thats a nice colour.

 

Looks like a nice color and yes, GM cars are crap. The white rims might look a bit rice though, and if you have the red interior you may want to change that as well--- blue and red clash like ***** and a ***** on a "woman."

Try re-doing the interior in black, white, silver, grey or any combo of colors that work with blue. Also, if you're going to paint the car a different color it's best to remove the engine and all exterior trim items and uphoulstry and do it right the first time. Nothing kills a car's value quicker than opening the hood or door only to see the old color staring back at you--- except maybe for a complete rice job.

 

BTW its a black interior and im gonna have some blue and black apc seats . and yes everythingismostlikely going to b removed or just covered up or something like that.

EDIT: im also going to paintthe interier metal stuff under the carpetand ill probably cover my speaker box in like bondo to give it the smooth look i want and paint it the same color and i mightpaintmy dash it has some fading problems on top off thegage cluster area.

 

you might want to change your mind about white rims, unless you like having to clean them every 2 days.but other than that the color looks nice

 

What i'm doing when i go to paint my 81 is going to the paint mixing store and getting the charcoal color the new rx8 came out in.

 

I think any color other than stock is a waste and ruins the car.
If you want a nice blue they made one in the 80's it was called "misty Blue"
those of us who are "TRUE" rotorheads will know a non factory paint job and it detracts from the show quality of the car.

I think that if you wanna paint the interior parts you should trade in the FB for an acura or a honda!!!!

Thats very similar to the color of pratch's car. I think it was called midnight blue. I dont care for blue on an FB personally, but it is a nice color. I think youll like it.

 

It's a very nice blue. Regardless of what "TRUE" morons might think.

 

The bottom line is that it is YOUR car, and YOU need to be happy with it.

AS long as you are happy with it, do it!

Btw that is a nice colour.

There are some OE blue options, but there are any that dark.

My first FB was L6 Royal Blue which is an '85 only colour.

i think it's a good color, but personally, i would go with black (like kazzer on sports car revolution, everthing must be black)

but it figures, i like black and i have a white car.
