ANother question for the rotary experianced.. I'm planning to head over to RP this evening and I'm contemplating getting the Bonez Racing pipe (straght pipe w/ presilencer) cat replacement. I already have a Bonez Cat installed at the time, and this is a complete bolt in switch, so I can put the cat back in for the yearly poke in the tailpipe..

My question is, is there really much gain in a straight pipe over a high(er) flow cat? Is it worth my 135$?

What did you end up getting at RP?

How’d you do on Sunday? The POS was plowing like a John Deere, I really need to replace my front springs, ball joints, tie rods, and rebuild my Idler Arm., Then get it aligned!

 

I did pretty good on Sunday I think... I decreased my time on each run, 62, 61,60, and finally 59.3xxx... I was impressed. I couldn't for the life of me get that that last right handed hairpin correct. I either plowed into it or fishtailed around it or had way to much speed into it or something...

AS far as what I got at RP, nothing... I really wanted to get the cone filter intake they sell, and I need a muffler gasket, but they were out of stock on the intakes, and I sure as hell wasn't going to drive allo the way out there just for a 5$ part, so I'll probably go some other time when they've got stuff in stock. I really determined that I need help on the suspension. Offbrand performance tires and that worn out front suspension really don't help my racing much... I'm still trying to save up $ to get the whole GC setup that I want. My plan is to run the last few races this year w/ the same setup and change a bunch over the winter and run faster (albeit in CSP) next year..
