Going mechanical secondaries....carb clean-up?

While I have my carb off and being rebuilt, I'm going to just go mechanical secondaries. I'm simplifying my carb since I removed the rats nest and went manual choke. Is there anything else I can remove if I'm going the mech. secondary route?
