Going To Destroy The Motor?

I have a buddy that bought a engine of mine that was hanging around the shop for awile.

The motor is a 13B N/A with a Holley carb and he put it into his 84 GS.

He's my question.....

The 13B N/A was intended to use a front mount oil cooler. He simply swaped his water powered oil cooler off of his 12A. Will this provide enough oil cooling?

He asked me and I told him I have no idea and just to simply convert.

He is lazy however and won't. What should I suggest to him?

The beehive as we know is inadaquate. Will it destroy his engine? Probably not but he's not doing it any favors either.

If he's not to lazy with his checkbook, offer to do the swap for him!

It'll be fine, I'm still running the "beehive" oil cooler in my 12aTurbo car and I have no overheating problems.

should be no problem. I know alot of people(not just hearsay but really know them) that don't even run an oilcooler on there cars. All except one have bridgeported motors, and the other one is street ported. All there cars have been running for 4 plus years with no problems
