getting my 79 sa back tommorrow
Well my 79 sa has been down at rotorsports racing, the guys down there have redone all my fuel line, pump and put in a fuel regulator, and tuned the carb and everything and timed it. i got everything as far as i could and just could not get it to run long and sound right so they did it for me and tied up some loose ends. im going to pick it up tommorrow. its still not driveable since the rear brakes are stuck some what so there is still some work, but im so excited about it. this was my first rebuild and it was ground up, blown motor, everythng rusted together and been sitting since like 88' nothing was in good shape. well i got it for FREE from my neighbor and decided to fix it. stripped it down and went back with a rebuild 12A rotorsports stage 3 and went with a nice streetport. got a RB ported intake with holley 465cfm, then went with RB hi-perf ported headers and full exhaust. got a lightweight flywheel, street strip clutch, duel pulleys, new electronic distributor, rebuild the tranny, and rearend. and now its going together. i got to do the brakes but other then that its running. its been in the works for a couple years so its about time, just excited and had to tell somebody LOL,
so with all that what you guys or gals think i will be putting to the rear wheels???, not sure what to expect and how well its going to be on the road???? i plan early next year to redo the suspension and then paint it over the summer.
i plan on get some pics and vid soon but till then take it easy
robert.

sounds awsome! I couldn't wait to get my car back to my house either. (i did all the bodywork w/ my grandfather at his house) Driving it is probably the most fun thing in the world I have done. Have fun with yours! It's gonna be a rocket! those mods look pretty good. I would guess 175 to the wheels.
