Getting another RX-7

hey!
just found another RX-7 for sale in my area. it's an '82, Gold coloured.

has cd player and 12 disk CD changer, all original.
the owner bought it brand new off the lot in 1982.

he wants $750 for it.
only thing is, it won't start.
He said it was the starter, BUT it turned over......and was making clicking noises...
so I guess that means, it the ignition?

anyways, ttyl.
hope I find out what the problem is.

Could be the starter, battery cable/connections or battery.

A 1982 with cd player and 12 disk changer, all original? I didn't think that these were available as a factory option in 1982.

I dunno, if it really was the starter, would it even turn over?
it was turning over, while making clicking noises,,,,,,,,I think that would be wires, cap and rotor maybe,

If it's got a tag on it you might try starting it with a tow or by pushing it down a hill. Or just go through the routine of checking for spark, fuel etc according to the trouble shooting guides, should only take a few minutes to figure out why it's not firing.
