Get wires from battary to inside of car
I believe I found the firewall? or w/e you call it that wires go from the outside to inside but it looks like a bitch to get wires in there. Any other way to get wires into the car without being too ghetoo?

I tryed to get my hand up there, but its soo tiny, ya think that will work?
Edit: Got them in!!! Nice thick wire. So my deck has a fuse on it so would it be ok to direct connect the deck to the battary since my cars old cables dont work?. Also How much power does the acc cable have in it? 12v?

yeah so I got it in, good idea on drilling your own but my friends mom wont let us drill, shes going to "sell" the car if his grades dont improve but she wont shes just making us work slower.
So how should I ocnnect the deck I was thinking putting 4 constant wires so I can put amps and such in lateron =D

You always want a fuse closer to the battery, so that if the wire grounds on the firewall or anywhere past the decks fuse it wont burn up the rest of it going to the battery. IMO, after being burned quite good with an unfused wire, I always pull hot wires from a fused source, or if I run a new wire from the battery, there is a fuse within 6" of it.
An easy way to get wires through the firewall is to straighten out a coathanger, gently poke it through a plug in the body, and once you can see the end inside the car, tape your wires to the other end and pull it through...Just be carefull that you dont poke anything important, or push too hard because you can easily poke through the casing on your wires resulting in sparks from your coathanger, and possibly blown fuses. Id say its easy enough to do tho.

well would you know how much power the acc has in it? If i connect both the acc wire from the deck and the constant to the 12v on the battary and ground it it turns on it I take off the acc it goes off, so if I just put 2 wires from the battary and make one swiched it will be like a acc wire right?

When you wire up amps, you run wire from the battery (with a good size fuse close to the battery) all the way to the amp. Then run the ACC from the headunit (deck) to the amp. Amps will draw too much current for factory wiring to power it. You could start an electrical fire.

Well we dont have amps yet we just have the deck it wants a constant and a acc, I was thinking changing one of the swiches by the shifter that are for idk the auto antenna that the previous owner removed to make the acc conenction, constant is 12v but how much is the acc is my question, I was thinking just putting another 12v wire for it and making it swiched =/

Stereo wants a CONSTANT (batter) GROUND (self explanitory) and a SWITCHED/ACC (which goes to the ignitian or other SWITCHED SOURCE, meaning anything that turns on with the key). I guess you could put the ACC on a switch, but why, the ignition is a switch.

You will need to pull your switched power from the ignition on, not acc. Another option for switched power is to pull it from the + side of one of the coils and use a relay to switch it with main power coming from the battery. This will work well for the heavier wire that you will need to run for the amps.
You can also poke around behind the radio surround and find a switched power source from the ignition that was used for the oem radio. Buy a multimeter.

They didnt work =/ thre is no constant or acc cable in the dash I looked hard.
So now we got it wired up, I used coking to hold the speakers in place, it created a great sound, it was good, we turned it up pretty loud, then it turned off. I traced it to be when the speaker touches the car body it grounds out or something. So in the end we got the *** to dry up pretty good now we just need some smaller infinity kappa's for the front.

Oh god i hate to think of the abortion you have created.
Decks need:
+12V direct from battery
+12V as a trigger type input from the ACC
GND
then there are the following outputs:
+/- Front Right Speaker
+/- Front Left Speaker
+/- Rear Right Speaker
+/- Rear Left Speaker
Other connections:
Amp trigger wire (turns on amp when deck is on)
possible backlight trigger.
You need to find a wire that is +12V live when ACC is on and connect the +12V ACC line from the deck to this. Connect your +12V from the battery to the +12V on the deck and ground the GND.
When the deck gets +12V on the ACC line, it turns on and draws its power from the +12V line from the battery.
If this still doesnt make sense, take it to a shop. No offense but you don't sound like someone that should be messing with electronics.

I've done plenty, my friends car isnt worth making a new acc wire for sorry to say there is NO acc wire I can assure you I spent hours. I build computers, have made many audio systems in the house and in my other RX-7 2nd gen. I finally got it all connected today. The last step is to remove the defroster swich as he dosent want it and its going to become the swich for the deck. That made perfect sense. The reason I used *** for the speakers is we didnt have any screws or anything handy (isnt my house) nor am I going to spend more money on him so I went the ghetto way, its going to be coverd and those speakers are sealed and sound great =D now time to get front speakers. I also wired a extra 12V for rear amps for subs, and the rear speaker wires are under the carpet fully outta site. I did a professional job for someone that dosent care if it uses acc or not.
