What the heck do they do in a "General Smog Tune up"?
My car was driving great, until it came time to get it smogged. It failed, but just barely. So, they did a small "Tune Up", then on the second test, it passed.
When i drove it home, my car didn't have that "Umpf" it usually had, and some of the power was not there anymore...

what things do they check for and mess with in those smog tune ups?

first off,,being that it's a calif.car there are MASS emissions,that's why you watch them when you
have somebody else work on YOUR car, also,if you
like how your car get's on,think about this,,, no smog
crap,,none,,like other states do . but it passed,,
there's one adjustment on the nikki , for ca.cars
