ok good it works, sorry to be a post *****, but it kept freezing and giving me empty posts... ugh. Anyway, I and few of the other "usuals" are planning a little get together on may 22 here at my place in norther NJ. Nothing more than meeting here on that sunday afternoon, bsing for a while then going to eat somewhere local. So far it looks like it'll be the 5 or so regulars, but we wanna get some new guys, anyone in the nj/ny/pa/ct/wherever area is welcome to come, preferably all first gens, but whatever, post up here if your interested.

I'm in Harrisburg right now but by then I'll prolly be up around Scranton cuz I've got to move out of my apartment. It's only a couple hours drive for me. I'm one of those crazies who drove out to Indy just to autoX in the cold tho, so I obviously am not road trip shy. NJ is just a li'l stretch of the legs.

He's probably doing split training. BCT and then AIT next year.
How do I know?.... Recruited for 7 years.

By the way Sean.... How about a barbecue? You can buy the stuff now.... and later collect $10 or $20 bucks from each of us. Find a good place to gather.... Let me know.

 

Nevermind - I found out that Army basic training is 8 weeks.

I was in the Marines, so I guess the training is a little different.
