whats wrong with exterior mount gauges? nobody has them... and i think its more of a bandwagon to get a A-pillar or something. exterior is just different. why have somebody break ur window AND steal ur gauges when they could just take them anyways??

Sounds more like you were just too cheap to do it properly; You do realize there have been cars that, from the factory, have gauges mounted exactly where yours is; and that some of those cars were built back in the 60's.

I took the time to totally redo my guage system, and this was the only option that I could afford at the time.
and frankly, I could give a ****. I simply do not have the space on the inside of my vehicle, with the 8 other autometer guages that are in the dash and center console.
I really like how it turned out. I get a lot of good comments on how it looks and how it matches the classic styling and race look of the car. And your exactly right about 60s cars with stock external guages. That exactly where this idea came from.
I wanted the classic look of an external guage, but modern, with a carbon fiber cup and a stainless braided 4an line.
take a look at the sig, lazy nothin!
