gated shifter

anyone ever make a gated shifter cover on there first gen? Like on Ferrari's and Lambo's?. I dunno, i just need a plate since my shifter plate is missing and thought it might be interesting...

I have seen a really **** poor one done, the guy ended up snapping his shifter in half.

Can be very easy to do with a milling machine ... i was actually thinking about that myself, but i'm uncertain on how the end look would be ... i figured that it would look like out of place if you did it out of aluminum or some sort of metal like that

i actually think a gated shifter would hurt your shifting because you dont have as much play
and i dont like them either.......but my step uncle could make you one out or steel if you want one that bad
