You can get the gaskets from Mazdatrix:

http://www.mazdatrix.com/c-2.htm

You can also check VB and other places that sell RX-7 parts. The dealer should be able to get the gasket as well.

I just ordered the Gasket kit form mazdatrix They were awesome Best Customer Service by far.

Racingbeat also sells these, but I have just moved and they will only ship to your billing address which was a pain for me. I really couldnt have them ship to Texas now can I.

I think you are about out of luck getting it done this weekend. I don't think you will find any place local that stocks the gasket. If you need to get it done, get some gasket material and cut using the old gasket as a pattern. You shoul dbe able to find o-rings of the proper size at Lowes, Home Depot, or similar. Usually auto parts stores will carry basic o-ring sizes. If you don't need the car, I would order from Mazdatrix or something now and have the parts ready for next weekend.

Should be fine. Any automotive gasket material will be fine with the temperatures on the intake manifold. You can then put on the Mazda gasket later if you want. Good luck.

Old school trick is take a peice of gasket material, Use the manifold and a small ball peen hammer. Hold the gasket paper to the manifold and lightly tap with the ball end of the hammer to cut the gasket to the shape you need. The sharp edges of the mani will allow you to make a perfect gasket.

I use the dark gray gasket material. Cut a piece to cover the intake, spray it with the Permatex brake disc quiet, stick it on the intake and use an exacto knife to cut it out. You will need to cut the larger holes for the o-rings first, before sticking it on the intake.

Use a sharpened pencil to poke the bolt holes.
