gas treatments

I have an 84 gsl-se w/ 84k miles, I only drive it once or twice a month on beatiful clear days. Will gas treatments hurt rotary engines (seals). I store it during the winter mostly and would hate to have any build ups in the tanks.

Thanks.

I've never heard of gas treatments hurting a rotary. Marvel Mystery Oil (MMO) is a favorite 'round these parts because it cleans the fuel delivery system AND lubes the seals at the same time.

Put it in your oil too. Good warm or cold ice or not and with a little whisky!

gAS TREATMENTS oops, sorry. I never use the caps lock button because the shift key is all I need.

Gas treatments are ok to use. I've had good results from them. Are you talking about a fuel stabilizer for winter storage?

I agree with the MMO, I've used it in 3 RX-7's and never had any problems. I mix 6oz or so to 15 gal of gas. Another good product to use is Amsoil synthetic 2-cycle oil in the gas. Its a lot more expensive but for racing its the way to go. Mix it anywhere from 200:1 to 300:1.
