Gas tank sending unit questions....
i replaced my "holy" gas tank in my 80 with the perfect tank from my 79 racecar project... however, the problem is now, that the sending unit is reading very low on the gauge, when its full, it reads between 3/4 to half on the meter. The sender from the 80 tank seemed to work well.
is there any way i can replace the sender, or calibrate the gauge or something like that? because now that i'm getting MUCH better mileage (due to not having holes in the gas tank)... i'd like to actually know how much fuel i have.

It refers to a GSL-SE, but I think that it still applies. As for removing the sender unit, I do believe that you have to drop the tank.
Good Luck
