hey guys have a question does a regular 84 or 85 g gs gsl rx7 gas tank work with my 85 gsl se now I'm going turbo s5 motor but for the time being I'm run my side drafts i remove the fuel injection system had problems it run fine just that my gas tank has a big dent on the bottom and my fuel level sensor don't work to so thats why I'm want to change it ... thanks

 

any tank for an FB will work fine for your carb application

 

You do not want to use a carbed tank for fuel injection though. It has no baffling and under certain conditions fuel slosh will run the pump dry. Some people run a second tank system which is just a PITA. Use the GSL-SE tank, it works fine for carb setups too since the pump is outside and dictates initial pressure for the fuel system
