gas pedal prob...

ok, i think my gas pedal isnt pushing all the way out. when i come to a stop, i can put my foot under the gas and pull up and the rpms will drop. how can i adjust this? thanks,

I'd start by looking into the cable/brake assembly.There is most likley a spring somewhere under the dash attached the the pedal. You'll have to elimante the linage first. That's why I would start at the pedal and work my way throught the linage until I verified proper function at the carb.

Thats normal. Your bending the linkage by doing that. If your concerned about it, have someone press the gas and hold it down and with a flashlight, look into the carb to see that the primary blades are straight up and down. The shop manual has the adjustment procedure for this carble and pedal. I have a tech article written on this, but its not uploaded to my website yet.

Yea, this has to do with that little T bracket that flops over that round dealie... kinda hard to pull the T back to put it in the groove... ah well...
