Gas pedal adjustment
FYI - This is for a race setup car (SRX7).
So, the Haynes & FSM says the gas pedal should be 1.8" below the brake. My quick measurement shows mine is farther back than that, probably 2.2-2.5" If I bring this up a little by adjusting the pedal position adjustment nut, will I have to then adjust the free play nut in the throttle line and/or the stopper bolt for full opening? Anyone mess with this? Can I adjust the pedal position adjustment nut without affecting throttle response negatively?
My purpose is to better heel toe on the track. Right now it's quite a reach (and a PITA).

i think you might have to adjust the carb end, but its very easy to do that. since its a race car you may want to verify that the carb is actually fully open, when you floor it.
and actually since its a race car, you may want to try a couple of different pedal heights and go with the most comfortable
