The only thing I have found to help my MPG is to park the 7 and drive my Honda.

20 mpg city, or highway?

if it's city, then it's pretty damn good IMO. Highway, you could probably do better. Do a search and you'll find tons of tips on how to improve your gas mileage. Some of the general suggestions are:
-Full tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel & air filters, oil).
-New Oxygen Sensor (GSL-SE).
-Convert to DLIDFIS (do a search).
-Clean injectors (GSL-SE)

There's tons of extra info out there. Good luck!

20mpg is good for a 7. A modded 7 will get on average 15mpg or less. Consider yourself lucky.

Amsoil Synthetic 0w-30 in motor,
Amsoil Synthetic 75w-90 in transmission
Amsoil Synthetic 80w-90 in rear end and you'll gain a couple mpg. Also their PI fuel additive is great!

That is oh so ture. differnece is I drive a TDI

My first tank of fuel this seaason I have 150 miles on it...

But then again I also drive the car like I hate it

Lets just build a bridge and get over the fact that these 19+ year old cars just don't get great gas milage.

Longduck posted an excellent response to the "How do I increase my gas milage" question a few weeks ago.

See if searching will yield the thread.
