gas gauge drops when below 3/4 tank

what would the most likely scenario to the cause of this problem some say float in tnak no good some say a connector to tank needs leads to be cleaned what would most likely cause this???????????

So basically you have between full and 3/4, then it shows empty all the time?

That'd be a level sensor man. Replace it.
