Try a few things, as my experience with nikki's fuel boiling is very similar.
first, run startron fuel stabilizer in the gas tank. Any parts chain carries it, small blue bottle.
Try running higher test gas than 86/87. It's got a good bit of eathanol nowadays and boils over easily.
third, try the RB heat shield under the intake wrapped in thermo tape.
What altitude are you?

Im at 1850 feet.
ill try wrapping the exhaust and making my own heat shield. I cant really justify spending 100 dollars on a bent piece of aluminum

I'm seeing fuel boil issues in the heat when running the engine hard. I think my issues is I'm using a generic air cleaner thats open all around, one of those chrome 13 or 14 inch jobs and I think I need to replace my coolant. When I was last in the mountains my temps were running warmer and when I pushed hard at times I would get fuel boiling which would go away if I let off and things cooled a bit. This was at 2-5,000 feet.
So swapped back on the stock air cleaner but with the snout removed (to clear my strut bar) and its running a little cooler now. Next I'll change the coolant which is a couple of years old. That should solve any temp issues and my nikki boiling.
When I had a Dell 48 I ran a homemade shield on the intake to solve problems like this and I also wrapped the headers. You may need to do the same.
