gapage between door panels and fenders?
Hi All,
I am getting my gsl-se ready for paint and was wondering what people are using for a gauge of the door and fender gaps. I had read somewhere about a paint stirring stick as a rule of thumb.
Also my color choice is Urekem Intruder Purple base/clear coat. Anyone ever see this color on a vehicle? From paint sample looks like a multicolored metallic pearl dark purple

i actually found Mazda's gap spec, and i was thinking about 3D printing some gap tools, its neat, you just stick one at each end, and gap is set, and its straight.
Mazda's spec is 4mm +/-1mm, for everything but the bottom of the door which is 6mm. you get a 1.5mm tolerance for height difference between two panels.
a paint stir stick is probably close.
