Ok so another question..... I just got this car and as time goes on i am finding out more and more about it. When i start it in the morning none of the gages work besides the fuel level. After I let it warm up and i start driving the gages will start working 1 by 1. Usually the rpm will be first to work then the volt meter..... oil pressure and water temp has never worked... Also the blinkers dont work for about 15 mins of driving then they will come on. I felt around under the dash and didnt feel any loose wires or anything unplugged. I should be getting my repair manual in the mail any day, but I was hoping someone on here knows whats wrong.

Idaho in the winter? I think that may be your problem. I'm in Philadelphia and the one day I drove it on a cold morning, the tach didn't work until it warmed up.

 

I concur...I'm driving in Wisconsin and my tach almost never works.....although all the other stuff works fine all the time. Once the temps get above freezing presto I've got a tach again.

 

You think that would cause the blinker problem too. The tach works if i dont start it till after noon. Also my temp gage dont work at all anyone know were i can get an aftermarket one that will just plug in a be good to go. I looked at some they had at autozone but i didnt think they would work. I started it tonight and drove for about a 10 min period and the blinkers started working. I just wanna save myself from any tickets....
