gage pods for FB's

does anyone here know of a company that makes nice fitting gage pods for the a-pillar for a 1st gen? perhaps to fit a 2 5/8 gage? i saw a few online for early civics and was even wondering if this could be molded to fit using a heat gun to soften it and then reshaping it.....

I've heard you can take a second gen one and a heat gun and get it to fit.

As per: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=707379

http://www.gaugepods.com/mazda.html

They sell a pod made for the first gen. It also replaces the whole pillar, not just tacks on top.

I agree. I'm running a full 2 pod one from them now. Don't ask them to paint it as they can't even come close.

I spent a hour or so at the local speed shop running in and out with nearly every autometer dual pod they had.

The one that fit the best I've had on my car for almost 6 years.

I'll get the part # and a pic tommorow.

I put the black caps they gave me over the screws, so they are not visible anymore.
