you guys and your "secret porting" sound like a bunch of BS to me.. you can port all you want but porting is porting and there isnt a secret way of doing it.. how about you post some real numbers instead of a piece of crap toy made for hondas.. go to the track and lay down some real figures... then get back to us.

There is more but it is a secret.

I'd guess you're in the 175 to 225 range. You have to really know what you're doing to get up above 250 with a single side port setup, and you need at least a better intake and exhaust setup than what you have listed. The hp you quoted on your builder's motor, was it an engine dyno number or a corrected chassis dyno number?

As far as the G-techs go, I've owned both, and they both have the potential to be accurate given proper setup and a controlled test environment.

u can call him dumb, but i bet his car has got more bang for the buck than u would dream of. U seriously can't understand that any port doesn't equal any port. What he said, is that his bridge smoked their pport. Not English enough, dakfjadjfkaljdjfkldsj, there is some jibberish for you. Main point: a Jack in the Box taco is no the same as a taco made in the heart of Mexico.

There is no need for the personal attacks. It is very obvious that the absolute optimum port shape and timing are not easy to achieve. With that being said, some people know how to get closer to optimum than others. In my opinion, trained engineers and highly experienced builders make the best ports. The guy down the street who has ported five or six motors and claims to have a "secret" port shape has about a one in a million chance of having a superior port to either of the two listed above.

not a faulty device

I have a GTechPro and as far as I know, the reason why the readings are low is that on systems like the Gtech it takes into account every possible outside variable like air resistance. also if your going up even a slight hill, it will throw your reading off. It is more of a measure of true horsepower, and these devices are the first thing thats really been able to measure that. For that, they are EXTREMELY accurate. as for the cylinders problem, on the GTECH it does not ask you that question. Cant help you there. Sorry
