Funny exhaust pulses during warm-up
ok while the choke is out and warming up the exhaust pulses funny.. itll sound normal then all of a sudden itll sound like 3-4 pulses happen at once... ex.. womp....womp....womp....womp,womp,womp, kinda like that i guess.. but when it warms up and the choke disengages it idles normal with no quick pulses... im just wondering if this is a sign of something going wrong
Mine does that too, always has. It sounds like it's bridgeported when it does it.
I think it's just because it's running rich, if I close the choke flap when it's hot it does the same thing, then dies if I close it all of the way. My friend's Rabbit did the same thing when we put a Jaguar air flow meter on it, which caused it to make bridge port noises and blast out black smoke.
